First and foremost Artura ltd. Was set up to offer schools and parents a better choice,quality and above all value for money professional digital photography service.
Year after year we were obligingly and grudgingly buying these overpriced, overexposed and badly lit portraits that resembled our children, not even worth the paper that they are printed on. We decided enough was enough!
The team at Artura are all proud parents ourselves ,we know you teachers and parents are a busy bunch so you can all relax knowing disruption is minimal,the ordering is quick and simple and there’s absolutely no administration involved by the school.
Mark and Martin our happy and highly skilled photographers direct the shoot swiftly, and on time (so we don’t upset the dinner ladies) and make it a fun session for the children. One of our female assistants either Kay or Linzi are alway’s on hand to straighten the ties, ruffle the collars and put a smile on the class.
The team all have individual CRB enhanced clearance, specifically for school photography and all our equipment is fully insured for being on your premises. Safety alway’s comes first for us and we do visit the shoot location at the schools convenience to plan and organise the set and the running order of the day.

Individual traditional photographs are available in two different poses, we give you a choice of three different formats colour, black and white and sepia.
We also cater for siblings and group shots, usually the first to be photographed early Mum’s and Dad’s are welcome to bring along the baby and even join in for a family portrait.
We are extremely proud of our quality, the lighting rig and equipment we use is second to none and each photograph is individually post edited to ensure stains on clothing, bumps, scratches, grazes and even visits from the hair fairy are a thing of the past. We don’t add teeth though, there’s nothing cuter than a gummy smile!
Waiting time is kept to a minimum and our proof ordering comes with various packs or individual sizes, key rings, fridge magnets, mouse mats, posters etc. All at the best prices on the best quality paper. If you require extra proofs for split family’s or Grandparents that’s no problem, just contact us on the letter we provide to your child.
To happily help with the funds Artura offer the School fantastic rates of commission based on the amount that we sell. The more that are ordered the better for the children, times are hard for everyone,but we realise the importance of at least one professional picture of your child each year, our prices are affordable to parents.
